last year of single digits...

it was her birthday in december. i haven't been posting as much and have had this ready for quite a while. i had decided to document her birthday party. we did it at home. she wanted to do some crafts. so we picked scarf making and glitter bracelets. it's always a bittersweet day for children's birthdays. they are growing up and it's so neat to see it...and then it's the knowing they are growing up that is sad. she turned nine this year and it will be her last year in single digits...;( but it has to happen and life keeps moving:)
